“It’s all within us.” That’s exactly what I want to depict through my art piece. There are two aspects of this art.
One is how the human has made rapid strides in technology and never ceases to explore the outer universe yet we are still endangered on this planet. The pollution, overexploitation of resources, environmental changes etc. sees minimal recovery.
The other reaches out to the depths of our own mind and the significance of introspection. At that level we can understand how the pollution of the mind is what always lies at the base and it doesn’t cease to flow into the world and engulf everything in its toxic envelope. In the process of analysing what we see, we forget to look within and that makes all the difference.
Anyways, I believe art is subjective and hence you can interpret it the way you want. Do let me know in the comments what you think.
Have a great day!

The person emerging from the planet looks desperate, suffering, as if crying for help, something I could relate to.

Don’t worry, friend. We are all together. The solution to all the sufferings lies right within us though.

I had to go back and look again after reading your explanation. It made the art so much more meaningful. Thank you for your explanation of what was going through your mind as you created this. Quite thoughtful! Inspiring! ❤️👍🏽

Yes, I think there are two universes, the one without and the one within, all caught up in the now ! A lovely insightful post, depicting the message with clarity. Well done.

Amazing, plus you write so well.
I did see aspects of the universe, but also saw a sadness in her/him. But is she throwing up?

You can think it like a release. It’s an abstract thing, so throwing up won’t be the right way to describe it, I guess. Btw, thanks for your eloquent comment.

Megha, your art and writing both are very nice and thought evoking. When I saw the art it looked like nature was taking revenge on mankind by engulfing mankind. The look of helplessness on that face is very well portrayed.
Then I read your thoughts, they are also expressed, like the toxicity of the mind taking roots on the environment around us and poisoning it.
Really liked the post and the thoughts that you had put behind creating that art! Very interesting 🙂
